Stop Seeking Perfection

Why perfection is the enemy of progress.

If you want to take a quick shortcut to burnout and frustration, try chasing perfection.

Perfection is merely an illusion created in one’s mind. Nothing is perfect, but this also isn’t an excuse to settle for mediocracy.

On the road to greatness, we must learn that progress is preferable to perfect inaction.

Doing something imperfectly everyday that will contribute to your destiny is better than becoming stuck striving for perfection.

The world’s movers and shakers understand this secret: life rewards those who are diligent with their gift and invest time in growing and learning how to gracefully become more effective.

Now, if you recall the ancient story of creation, the Creator of heaven did not wait for chaos or emptiness to vanish before saying, “Let there be light.”

Despite the odds, the Creator chose to create something valuable and beautiful for the world.

Now in regards to our destiny, we need to stop waiting for all the ducks to all line up

before we make a step forward.

They say fortune favours the brave, so are you brave enough to appear inexperienced?

Can you choose to place a higher value on daily progress over the pursuit of perfection?

The time to act is now, even if it’s imperfect action.

Many people have too much pride in how they appear to others, and this image protection postpones our destiny — may this not be said of you.

May you be able to let go of the outcome and find joy in the process of making progress.
