Presence & Power

Moses told God that he didn’t want to go into promise land without God’s presence.

Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. — exodus 33:15

Jesus told his disciples:

“And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” — Mathew 28:10

God’s presence is his assurance that he is with us throughout the process of fulfilling our destiny.

Now His power was available to the children of Israel to drive out the giants in the land. Additionally Jesus gave power to his disciples to cast out demons, heal the sick, and even be his witness on the earth.

Here’s the point;

The presence of God is a promise. God will always be with his children through the hills and valleys of life.

But notice the power of God was given to accomplish God’s will on earth. He never assigns you to something that he isn’t willing to empower through.

The power of God is His enablement that’s received by the posture of your heart. Is your heart still self seeking? Then you don’t qualify for great dimensions of power. How can God entrust power to you if you haven’t surrendered your life to accomplish His plan for your life?

Remember:

His presence if for the journey. But His power is for to fulfill his assignments.

Your responsibility is to cherish His presence and steward your heart to easily receive his power. May you experience the comfort of God’s presence and fruitfulness of walking in power.
